Accor’s Pullman Hotels & Resorts has entered Sri Lanka with the opening of Pullman Colombo City Centre and Pullman Bentota Resort & Spa, marking the brand’s debut in the country and expanding Accor’s presence across South Asia.
The two openings give Pullman a presence across two distinct demand markets—Colombo’s corporate and commercial centre and Bentota’s leisure-driven coastal destination.
Pullman Colombo City Centre features 219 rooms and suites and is located in Colombo’s commercial and lifestyle district. The hotel has six dining outlets, including AYU, Thai Rasa, Adityaa, Collections Café, Mansion Lounge & Bar and Vistas Rooftop Bar. Its facilities include a rooftop infinity pool, spa, fitness centre and meeting and event spaces.
At the other end of the market, Pullman Bentota Resort & Spa is positioned between the Bentota River and the Indian Ocean and is accessible by ferry across the river. The resort offers 165 rooms, family rooms and suites, alongside restaurants, water sports, wellness facilities, family activities and event spaces for meetings and weddings.
“The launch marks Pullman’s entry into Sri Lanka and reflects the country’s growing potential across business, leisure and experiential tourism,” said Ranju Alex, CEO, Accor South Asia.
The openings come through Accor’s partnership with Softlogic Group, with Chairman and Managing Director Ashok Pathirage stating that the projects are aimed at strengthening hospitality infrastructure in Colombo and Bentota while contributing to tourism and employment.
Both properties participate in ALL Accor, the group’s loyalty programme.
Accor India & South Asia currently operates 75 hotels across luxury, premium, midscale and economy segments, with brands including Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure, ibis and ibis Styles.
