New HRANI office-bearers elected for 2026-28; Nikhil Sharma and Rahool Macarius appointed Vice Presidents
The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Northern India (HRANI) has elected Garish Oberoi, Partner, Hotel Uberoi Anand, as its President for the 2026-28 term. The elections were held at the association’s 75th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 11, 2026, at Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport, New Delhi.
The AGM also approved the association’s financial results for 2025-26 and elected its Managing Committee for the 2026-28 term. The meeting was followed by a Managing Committee meeting to elect the new office-bearers.
Oberoi brings decades of experience in the hospitality sector and has been involved in industry advocacy on key issues affecting hotels and restaurants. He also serves as Honorary Secretary of the Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI).
Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, and Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director, Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, have been elected Vice Presidents. Surendra Kumar Jaiswal, Partner, Deep Hotel, Lucknow, has been appointed Honorary Secretary, while Rishabh Khanna, Advisor, Hotel Crowne Plaza, Rohini, has been elected Treasurer.
Amarvir Singh, Partner, Hotel Natraj, Ludhiana, and Meena Bhatia, Vice President & General Manager, Le Méridien, New Delhi, have been appointed Honorary Joint Secretaries.
The HRANI Managing Committee will also include several continuing members from across the northern hospitality market, including Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Vinod Gulati, Rakesh Roy, Rattandeep Singh Anand, Ankit Gupta, Ajay Bakaya, Ashwani Kumar Goela, Deepak Parihar, Pradeep Narayan Singh, Arun Dang, Kamal Nayan Tripathi, Virendra Teotia, Amarjeet Singh, Luv Malhotra, Pawan Aggarwal, Manan Chawla, Vikas Malhotra, Manu Kochhar, Sanjay Thakur and Abhishek Sadhoo.
The newly inducted members include Balveer Singh Naruka, Ankita Jaiswal, Ishaan Oberoi, Sanjeev Yadav and other industry representatives.
With Oberoi taking charge for the 2026-28 term, HRANI will continue its focus on advocacy and industry development across Northern India.
