FSSAI has responded to complaints about substandard food quality on Indian airlines by issuing an advisory. The advisory stresses the importance of transparent labeling for all in-flight meals, requiring details such as the caterer’s name, FSSAI license number and expiry date. The advisory mandates that product labeling must include essential information such as expiry date and the caterer’s name. Lemon Tree Hotels signed a license agreement for upcoming hotel in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu under the company’s brand, Keys Lite by Lemon Tree Hotels recently. The upcoming property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private, a wholly-owned subsidiary and the hotel management arm of the company.
