Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a greenfield project for a 232-key Gateway hotel in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, in partnership with Raj Kailash Hospitality LLP.
Located along the Yamuna Expressway, Gateway Agra will feature an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant and bar, along with a gym and swimming pool. The hotel will also offer banquet halls, a conference room and meeting rooms for weddings, social events and business gatherings.
“Agra is an integral part of India’s tourism landscape and one of the country’s most iconic destinations. As a key stop on the Golden Triangle circuit alongside Delhi and Jaipur, the city continues to attract domestic and international travellers alike,” said Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President, Real Estate and Development, IHCL.
She added that Agra is also emerging as a significant urban centre in Uttar Pradesh, supported by infrastructure development, new townships and upcoming IT parks.

Agra remains one of India’s leading tourism destinations and a key stop on the Golden Triangle circuit connecting Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
With the signing of Gateway Agra, IHCL will have 64 hotels in Uttar Pradesh, including 27 under development.
