TDI Infratech has partnered with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to introduce Ramada by Wyndham Panipat Connaught Estate, further strengthening the presence of branded hospitality in India’s fast-growing Tier-II markets.
The proposed 53-key hotel, backed by an investment of approximately ₹75 crore, will be developed within TDI Connaught Estate, the company’s flagship mixed-use development in Panipat. The property is currently under development and is expected to commence operations in the second quarter of 2028.
Designed to cater to business travellers, transit guests, and small-format meetings and events, the hotel is expected to address the growing demand for quality branded accommodation in the region.
The project reflects broader trends in India’s hospitality sector, where infrastructure development, industrial growth, and increasing domestic travel are driving hotel investments beyond major metropolitan cities. Located within the rapidly developing NCR growth corridor, Panipat is emerging as an important commercial, industrial, and transit hub.
Strategically positioned within TDI Connaught Estate, the hotel will benefit from proximity to commercial establishments, retail destinations, and major transportation links, enhancing the appeal of the integrated development.
Commenting on the project, Akshay Taneja, Managing Director, TDI Infratech, said, “This investment reflects our long-term confidence in Panipat’s evolving economic landscape. The addition of Ramada by Wyndham strengthens the ecosystem at TDI Connaught Estate and aligns with our vision of creating integrated urban destinations supported by high-quality infrastructure.”
Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director – Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, highlighted the growing potential of regional markets, stating that improving infrastructure, rising commercial activity, and increasing demand for branded hospitality continue to create strong opportunities across Tier-II and Tier-III cities in North India.
He added that the new Ramada by Wyndham property in Panipat will be well positioned to serve both business and leisure travellers while supporting Wyndham’s expansion strategy in high-growth regional markets.
Beyond hospitality, the development is expected to contribute to local employment generation and economic activity, while further strengthening Panipat’s evolving commercial and tourism ecosystem.
