Beam Suntory, a world leader in premium spirits, introduces its bespoke Bowmore 1965 key launch to Mumbai Duty Free Store. Bowmore 1965 is a highly sought-after single malt that has matured for 52 years in the world’s oldest Scotch maturation warehouse, the No1 Vaults, to create a rare and refined whisky with the perfect blend of complexity and elegance that comes from an extended maturation period.
This remarkably rare limited-edition is an outstanding expression and has been elevated to legendary status through maturation, showcasing the iconic fruit notes and deep flavour that have been savoured by connoisseurs worldwide and are renowned as some of the most collectible Bowmore expressions. A luxurious one-off art piece, Bowmore 1965 captures the rich provenance of Bowmore’s heritage and the shores of Islay and will be available to travellers at the Mumbai airport. Available in extremely limited quantities, with only 232 bottles in existence worldwide, Bowmore 1965 is the latest expression in the Vaults series – a collection of the rarest whiskies created from the No.1 Vaults.
Bowmore 1965 celebrates an important period in the evolution of the distillery as the 1960s represent the golden age of Bowmore, when some of the brand’s most prolific and admired whiskies were crafted. On the nose, the Bowmore 1965 unlocks elegant bursts of rich fruits, sweet bees wax and intense dark chocolate, developing into burnt heather and a fresh spring flower finish. Perfectly balanced with a touch of jasmine, dried fruit and apricots, this single malt is best savoured neat.
The Bowmore 1965 have been recently launched as well in Los Angeles International Airport and Hainan Sanya Downtown Duty Free store.
