The Federation of Associations in Tourism and Hospitality (FAITH) will host its National Tourism Conclave, “Tourism 2030 – India on Mission Mode,” on June 4–5 at Taj Palace, New Delhi. The event aims to chart a roadmap for transforming India into a USD 3 trillion tourism economy by 2047, contributing 10% to GDP.
Puneet Chhatwal, Chairman, FAITH, stated, “India’s rapid economic growth, increasing foreign tourist arrivals, and shifts in travel behavior position the country as a key global tourism hub. The conclave will focus on policy transformations and fostering investment to unlock India’s tourism potential.”
The two-day event will feature panel discussions on themes like developing holistic travel ecosystems, world-class infrastructure, sustainable tourism, cultural preservation, destination promotion, and talent building. Recommendations will be submitted to policymakers to enhance India’s global tourism standing.
Ajeet Bajaj, Vice Chairman, FAITH, emphasized, “The conclave will bring together senior government and industry leaders to deliberate on actionable strategies for tourism growth.”
Registration for the conclave is open, inviting stakeholders to contribute to shaping India’s tourism future. The event aligns with the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047,” envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
