Seagram’s Longitude 77, India’s most exclusive single malt, made a grand debut at the Cannes Film Festival with its Collector’s Edition. Named after the meridian that traverses India at 77° East, Longitude 77 pays tribute to the nation’s diverse terroir, rich craftsmanship, and breathtaking landscapes.
The highlight of the launch was the exquisite packaging, designed by acclaimed Indian artist Paresh Maity, whose work artistically captures the journey of India’s Longitude 77—from the northern mountains to the southern coasts.
The unveiling, held at the India Pavilion, was a star-studded affair featuring Maity, art patron Shalini Passi, and designer Manish Malhotra. It celebrated India’s artistry, craftsmanship, and whisky-making excellence on the global stage.
“This collaboration captures India’s essence through art and craftsmanship,” said Paresh Maity. “Longitude 77 symbolizes the finest India has to offer, blending tradition and modernity.”
Kartik Mohindra, Chief Marketing Officer, Pernod Ricard India, added, “This Collector’s Edition showcases India’s cultural richness and elevates Indian craftsmanship to global luxury standards.”
The event also featured a red-carpet moment where Shalini Passi donned a statement piece by Manish Malhotra, inspired by Maity’s art. Malhotra noted, “This collaboration merges fashion, art, and Indian excellence in an extraordinary way.”
With only 650 cases released, the Longitude 77 Collector’s Edition is a treasure for collectors and connoisseurs alike.
