IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Hotel Chetan International to develop two new properties in the KIADB Aerospace Park, adding over 420 rooms to its Bengaluru portfolio. The projects — Crowne Plaza Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park and Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park — are scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2028.
Located close to Kempegowda International Airport, the dual-branded hotels will tap demand from aerospace and technology companies, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), corporates, and nearby residential and commercial hubs. They are also positioned to benefit from the upcoming BCCI Centre of Excellence and National Cricket Academy, expected to draw both leisure and MICE traffic.
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said the expansion highlights Bengaluru’s importance as one of India’s most dynamic hospitality markets. “With the introduction of Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express in this hub, we are confident of catering to a wide spectrum of travellers seeking both premium experiences and smart, convenient stays,” he noted.
HC Byregowda, Managing Partner at Hotel Chetan International, said the partnership with IHG would deliver high-quality hospitality experiences in a strategically vital location, boosted by IHG’s global systems and its IHG One Rewards loyalty programme.
The Crowne Plaza property will feature 210 rooms, four dining outlets, meeting spaces including a ballroom, retail areas, and ample parking. The Holiday Inn Express, also with 210 rooms, will offer fitness facilities and essentials designed for time-conscious travellers.
Both hotels will provide access to IHG One Rewards, which offers benefits like suite upgrades, annual lounge memberships, and extended check-outs.
