The National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI), the apex body representing the country’s food services sector, successfully concluded the 4th edition of the NRAI Indian Restaurant Summit 2025 at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon. With the theme “Serving the Future”, the summit brought together over 2,500 delegates, 300+ leading brands, and 80+ speakers, cementing its position as India’s largest annual gathering of the restaurant community.
According to industry insights shared at the summit, India’s F&B sector is expected to grow at a CAGR of 8.1%, reaching INR 7.76 lakh crore by 2028. Discussions emphasized the rise of ethnic cuisines, Gen Z influence, sustainability, and the transformative role of technology in reshaping the industry.
The summit opened with a Google CEO Roundtable, followed by a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony led by Shri Rohan Khaunte, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, IT & E&C, Government of Goa, and Shri Rohit Monserrate, Mayor of Goa, alongside the NRAI leadership.
“The summit is more than dialogue—it is about shaping the future of our industry,” said Sagar Daryani, President, NRAI. “From digital transformation to sustainability, the conversations here will define India’s F&B roadmap for the next decade.”
Goa as a culinary hub emerged as a recurring theme, with Prahlad Sukhtankar, Chapter Head, NRAI Goa, noting the state’s growing appeal as a global food destination. “Goa continues to attract talent, creativity, and tourists from across the world, making it the perfect host for this landmark event,” he said.

Notable speakers included Ankit Ahuja, Nitin Saluja, Chef Ashish Massey, Ankush Grover, Chef Shankar Krishnamurthy, and influencer Mister Tikku, among others, whose perspectives enriched discussions on profitability, sustainability, consumer behavior, and innovation.
