Goa-based artisanal beverage startup Ochre Spirits has successfully closed a seed funding round led by Ah! Ventures through its First Gear platform, with participation from Mukesh Singh(Founder, RoboCapital; Ex-President, IIFL Finance) and Probir Roy (MD, Alize Capital; Independent Director, Nazara Technologies; Co-founder, PayMate).
The brand, known for its craftsmanship-driven approach and bold design language, is building a next-generation beverage house that merges authenticity with modern culture. Funds from this round will be used to expand operations across South and West India, strengthen production, and grow its portfolio across whisky, gin, and agave-based spirits.
Founder John Royerr said, “Our focus is on creating world-class products that remain accessible without compromising quality. We aim to build a multi-category beverage ecosystem that blends aspiration with authenticity.”
Ochre Spirits also plans to enter the non-alcoholic and functional drinks segment, reflecting its vision to become a homegrown house of brands that celebrates creativity, conscious indulgence, and modern Indian identity.
