Lemon Tree Hotels has initiated a group reorganisation as part of a broader effort to simplify its corporate structure and streamline operations. The restructuring is aimed at creating a clearer separation between asset ownership and hotel management, while improving transparency and operational efficiency across the group.
As part of this exercise, private equity firm Warburg Pincus is set to invest up to ₹960 crore in Fleur Hotels, the asset-owning subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. Fleur Hotels owns a significant portion of the group’s hotel properties, which are operated under Lemon Tree’s various brands through long-term management contracts.
The reorganisation is expected to strengthen Lemon Tree’s asset-light strategy, enhance capital efficiency and support future expansion plans. By consolidating ownership and operational structures, the group aims to improve governance, unlock value in its real estate portfolio and create a more scalable platform for growth.
The proposed investment by Warburg Pincus underscores continued investor interest in India’s hospitality sector, particularly in platforms with established brands and a diversified portfolio. Lemon Tree Hotels said the restructuring will help sharpen strategic focus while positioning the company for long-term growth in a competitive market.
