Mount Everest Breweries Limited (MEBL) has achieved a significant milestone by crossing 1 million hectolitres (Mn HL) in sales, reinforcing its position as one of India’s fastest-growing beer companies. The milestone translates to approximately 1.28 crore cases, highlighting the company’s rapid scale-up and increasing consumer demand across markets.
A key driver behind this growth has been the strong performance of MEBL’s flagship brand, STOK, which has crossed 1 million cases, witnessing accelerated growth over the past three years. The brand is now available across 14 states and 3 Union Territories, marking a notable achievement in India’s highly fragmented beer industry. In addition, the company’s broader portfolio, including Lemount and Mount, has expanded its presence to over seven states, indicating growing consumer acceptance and deeper market penetration.
Commenting on the achievement, Vedant Kedia, Whole Time Director of Mount Everest Breweries Limited, said the milestone reflects not only the company’s growth trajectory but also the strong connection its brands have built with consumers. He added that with continued investments in capacity, distribution, and product quality, the company is well-positioned to sustain its double-digit growth and further expand its footprint across India.
Supporting its expansion strategy, MEBL acquired a brewery in Mysore in 2025, enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening its production capabilities. With this addition, the company’s total brewing capacity has reached 3.5 Mn HL.
Operational excellence continues to remain a core focus area for the company. Investments in supply chain and distribution have enabled MEBL to maintain product freshness and quality, ensuring a consistent consumer experience and strengthening brand loyalty.
As the Indian beer market continues to evolve, Mount Everest Breweries Limited remains focused on responsible growth, improving product quality, and expanding its reach to cater to a broader consumer base across the country.
