The hospitality company also announced key strategic developments, including a new Marriott hotel project and expanded renewable energy investments.
According to the interim report released on May 22, 2026, the company’s improved financial performance was largely driven by one-time exceptional items and monetisation of assets, highlighting continued momentum in its portfolio optimization strategy.
As part of its expansion plans, SAMHI approved the development of a new Marriott-branded hotel project, further strengthening its presence in India’s growing hospitality market. The company also increased its investment in renewable energy initiatives, reflecting a broader industry shift towards sustainable and energy-efficient hotel operations.
The report additionally highlighted a significant capital infusion from an affiliate of GIC, reinforcing investor confidence in SAMHI’s long-term growth strategy and hospitality asset portfolio.
