ITC HotelsLimited has signed a management agreement for a 140-key Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels in Jaipur, further expanding its footprint in Rajasthan and strengthening the presence of its Welcomhotel brand in key leisure and state capital markets.
The upcoming property will be developed in partnership with Ashraya Hotels and Resorts and is expected to cater to growing demand for premium accommodation, meetings, conferences, exhibitions and destination weddings in the Rajasthan capital.
Jaipur remains one of India’s leading leisure and celebration destinations, attracting significant domestic and international tourist traffic owing to its heritage attractions, cultural experiences and established wedding market.
The hotel will feature guest rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lounge bar. The development will also include more than 15,000 square feet of indoor banqueting and event facilities along with 22,000 square feet of outdoor landscaped spaces designed for weddings and large-format social events.
Additional facilities will include a spa and wellness centre aimed at leisure and business travellers seeking premium hospitality experiences.
Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels Limited, said Jaipur continues to witness rising demand for quality accommodation and large event venues, making it a strategically important market for the company’s expansion plans.
He said the project aligns with ITC Hotels’ strategy of strengthening its presence in high-visibility destinations while delivering hospitality experiences that combine local character with the company’s service standards.
Directors of Ashraya Hotels and Resorts — Anil Agarwal, Sunil Agarwal and Peyush Agarwal — said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating a premium hospitality offering that celebrates Rajasthan’s cultural heritage while addressing evolving traveller expectations.
The signing follows ITC Hotels’ recent expansion announcements in Bhubaneswar, Dehradun and Hyderabad as the company continues to grow its managed hotel portfolio across India.
Industry observers note that Jaipur’s hospitality sector continues to benefit from strong tourism demand, improving connectivity and sustained growth in the weddings and MICE segments. The increasing need for premium accommodation and event infrastructure has attracted significant investment from leading hotel operators.
With an established presence across several destinations in Rajasthan, the addition of Welcomhotel Jaipur further strengthens ITC Hotels’ portfolio in the state and reinforces its long-term growth strategy in high-potential hospitalitymarkets.
