Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has expanded its Ginger brand portfolio with the opening of two new hotels in Agra and Siwan, reinforcing its strategy of strengthening its presence across India’s high-growth commercial and tourism markets.
The company has launched the 70-key Ginger Agra Fatehabad Road and the 30-key Ginger Siwan, Chapra Road, taking the brand deeper into key business and cultural destinations.
Deepika Rao said the expansion reflects IHCL’s focus on tapping high-potential markets. She noted that Siwan is emerging as an important trade and commercial hub in Bihar, while Agra continues to witness strong demand from domestic and international tourists as one of India’s leading heritage destinations.
The Agra property, located on Fatehabad Road, offers city-view guestrooms, modern amenities, Ginger’s signature Qmin restaurant serving Indian, Mughlai and international cuisine, along with a bar. The Siwan hotel features contemporary rooms and an all-day Qmin restaurant offering regional and global dishes.
Both hotels include banquet halls and meeting facilities designed to cater to corporate events, conferences and social gatherings, supporting growing demand for business and event infrastructure in regional markets.
The twin openings are part of IHCL’s broader expansion strategy to increase the footprint of the Ginger brand across emerging commercial centres and established tourism destinations, capitalising on rising domestic travel, business mobility and regional hospitality demand.
