Homegrown spirits brand Nisaki Indian Dry Gin has expanded its distribution footprint to Meghalaya and Rajasthan, strengthening its presence in India’s premium alcoholic beverage market and reinforcing ongoing growth in the domestic craft spirits segment.
The rollout begins in Meghalaya from 26 June, followed by Rajasthan from 3 July, marking a phased expansion into two distinct regional markets with evolving consumer demand for premium and craft spirits offerings within the regulated hospitality and retail ecosystem.
Produced in Goa, the brand positions itself within the Indian craft gin category, featuring a botanical-led formulation with juniper-forward profiling and citrus-spice inflections aimed at the premium on-trade and off-trade segments. The expansion reflects continued category growth in India’s organised alcobev distribution channels, particularly across tourism-driven and urban consumption centres.
From a hospitality and retail supply chain perspective, the entry into Meghalaya and Rajasthan is aligned with rising demand in premium bar programs, hotel beverage menus, and experiential dining formats, where craft spirits are increasingly being integrated into curated beverage offerings.
The brand’s expansion also highlights the broader trend of Indian-made premium spirits scaling beyond metro markets into tier-II and tourism-linked states, supported by evolving licensing frameworks and increasing hospitality-led consumption.
With this move, Nisaki continues to build national availability across regulated markets, targeting structured growth within India’s premium spirits distribution ecosystem.
