Global hospitality group Accor has signed an agreement with Andhra Pradesh-based Sri Bhramara Groupto develop a ₹250-crore Novotel beachfront hotel at Gavinivaripalem near Chirala, marking one of the largest internationally branded hospitality investments on the state’s coastline.
The project, spread across a 3.15-acre beachfront site overlooking the Bay of Bengal, will feature 225–250 guest rooms and suites, multiple specialty restaurants, banquet and conference facilities, a swimming pool, spa, fitness centre and landscaped recreational spaces.
Designed to cater to leisure travellers, MICE demand, destination weddings and family vacations, the hotel is expected to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s premium hospitality offerings while supporting the state’s coastal tourism ambitions.
The agreement was signed in New Delhi by Galla Ramachandra Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, Sri Bhramara Group, and Balvinder Sahrawat, Vice President – Business Development (India & South Asia), Accor, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.
The investment is expected to generate direct and indirect employment, stimulate the local economy and position Chiralaas an emerging premium beach destination. The development also aligns with Andhra Pradesh’s efforts to attract private investment into tourism infrastructure and expand its inventory of internationally branded hotels.
Once operational, the Novotel Chirala Beachfront Hotel is expected to become a flagship hospitality asset on the Andhra Pradesh coast, enhancing the state’s appeal to both domestic and international travellers.
