The Den Bengaluru joins luxury portfolio with 226 rooms
Hilton has launched its luxury brand LXR Hotels & Resorts in India with the opening of The Den Bengaluru in Whitefield. Owned by Dan Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd. and managed by Hilton, the 226-room property marks the brand’s entry into the Indian market, expanding Hilton’s luxury portfolio in a key business and leisure destination.
Located in Whitefield, the hotel offers five dining and social venues, wellness and recreational facilities, and more than 21,000 sq ft of event space across seven venues. Its facilities cater to business travellers, leisure guests and extended stays, alongside meetings, weddings and social events.
The hotel has introduced two signature programmes, The Pause Program and Whitefield Unscripted, built around restorative experiences and local discovery. The Pause Program incorporates wellness-led elements into the guest journey, including curated in-room amenities, a sleep kit, a pillow menu and nourishing dining options. Whitefield Unscripted offers neighbourhood experiences such as heritage bungalow trails and visits to local farms, where guests can harvest produce before enjoying meals prepared by the hotel’s culinary team.
Zubin Saxena, senior vice president and regional head, South Asia, Hilton, said India’s growing luxury travel market presents opportunities for brands offering personalised and experience-led stays. He added that Bengaluru’s global connectivity and cultural diversity made it a strategic market for the brand’s expansion.
The hotel’s accommodation includes guest rooms, studios and suites equipped with contemporary technology and interiors designed for business and leisure stays. Its dining portfolio includes Layla, a rooftop restaurant serving Indian and Mediterranean cuisine; The Creek, an all-day dining restaurant; The Deli, offering specialty coffee and artisanal pastries; and The Cold Press, which serves cold-pressed juices, smoothies and other wellness-focused refreshments.
Wellness facilities include The Sanctuary spa, a fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool. The property also features recreational spaces, including a digital gaming area and an immersive screening room.
The hotel’s event infrastructure spans more than 21,000 sq ft across a ballroom, auditorium, meeting rooms and an open-air amphitheatre, positioning it to cater to corporate meetings, conferences, weddings and social gatherings.
Candice D’Cruz, vice president, Hilton Luxury Brands, Asia Pacific, said the opening brings LXR’s focus on destination-led hospitality and personal discovery to India, with the property offering an expression of Bengaluru and Whitefield.
Vinesh Gupta, general manager, The Den Bengaluru, LXR Hotels & Resorts, said the association would build on the hotel’s connection with Whitefield through personalised service and distinctive guest experiences, supported by Hilton’s global distribution and Hilton Honors loyalty programme.
The property joins Hilton Honors, which offers members benefits including member discounts, flexible Points and Money payment options, digital check-in, room selection and Digital Key when eligible bookings are made through Hilton’s direct channels.
