Vanaha Gin, produced by Revelry Distillery in the Sattari forests of North Goa, has announced its entry into the Madhya Pradesh market as part of its strategic expansion in India. This milestone marks another step in the brand’s mission to redefine Indian craft spirits through innovation, authenticity, and a strong sense of place.
Founded by Vaniitha Jaiin, one of the first women in India to independently own and operate a distillery, Vanaha Gin has already achieved international recognition. The brand’s pioneering forest-to-bottle approach and proprietary five-step botanical extraction process earned it a spot as the only gin globally shortlisted in the ‘Innovation in Production’category at The Spirits Business Awards 2025.
The expansion into Madhya Pradesh reflects a natural alignment for Vanaha. Known for its vast forest cover, the state resonates with the brand’s identity of being a “forest in a bottle.” Currently available in Goa and Madhya Pradesh, Vanaha is preparing for wider distribution across key Indian markets this year, positioning itself among the fastest-scaling craft spirit brands in the country.
Revelry Distillery, purpose-built for scale and precision, employs a five-step process — botanical maceration, copper pot distillation, vapour infusion, cold vacuum distillation, and staging — to deliver layered complexity in flavour and aroma. Backed by a custom European copper pot still, an R&D lab, and sustainable design practices, the distillery has the capacity to produce nearly one million bottles annually, supporting Vanaha’s ambitious growth trajectory.
Speaking on the expansion, Vaniitha Jaiin, Founder & Chief Evangelist, Revelry Distillery, said:
“Vanaha was born from a simple but ambitious question — could we distil the spirit of a forest, with all its purity, honesty, and complexity? Every part of our process is designed to mirror the rhythm of the forest. The recognition we’ve received globally, and now this expansion into Madhya Pradesh, is validation that Indian spirits can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the best in the world.”
As India’s spirits market continues to move up the premiumisation curve, Vanaha’s expansion into Madhya Pradesh underscores a growing appetite for homegrown, artisanal, and globally competitive brands.
