Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality is set to expand its restaurant business into Bengaluru and Hyderabad this financial year, marking a major push beyond its core markets of Mumbai and Delhi.
The hospitality arm of the Aditya Birla Group plans to scale its premium dining portfolio while expanding into newer formats, including cafés and patisseries. The move positions South India as a key growth market for the company’s next phase of expansion.
The group entered the hospitality sector in 2021 with members only club Jolie’s and strengthened its restaurant portfolio in 2023 through the acquisition of KA Hospitality, adding established dining brands to its business.
The planned Bengaluru and Hyderabad expansion signals a wider geographic push as the company looks to capture demand in two of India’s largest urban dining markets.
The company is also exploring technology and analytics to improve customer recommendations, demand forecasting and supply chain management as it scales operations.
With its hospitality business currently concentrated in Mumbai and Delhi, the entry into Bengaluru and Hyderabad is expected to widen Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality’s national footprint and intensify competition in India’s premium restaurant sector.
