In a major boost to the global premium spirits market, Blue Billion Group (BBG) has entered into a strategic distribution partnership with Russia’s historic Kaluga Distillery Crystal. The agreement was signed during the VII International Municipal BRICS Forum 2025 in St. Petersburg by Pavel Pobedkin, Managing Director of Kaluga Distillery Crystal, and Dr. Kishor Navandar, Chairman & Managing Director of BBG.
Under the partnership, BBG becomes the exclusive global distributor for Kaluga Distillery Crystal’s premium vodka, liqueurs, and emerging product lines across India, the Gulf, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malta, and Australia.
Dr. Navandar said the partnership marks a strong alignment between “Russian craftsmanship and global opportunity,”adding that the two companies aim to elevate the premium spirits experience for new-age consumers.
Founded in 1901, Kaluga Distillery Crystal is among Russia’s oldest distilleries, known for its quality-led production of vodkas and liqueurs. The collaboration will prioritise two high-growth segments:
• Liqueurs and gins for the HoReCa sector
• Ready-to-Drink (RTD) cocktails for youth markets, especially in India, where 65% of the population is under 35
Dr. Navandar noted that evolving consumption patterns in India present strong opportunities for premium RTD beverages.
The deal marks a significant step in BBG’s global expansion strategy and strengthens both companies’ ambitions in established and emerging markets.
