Cartel Bros. and Sanjay Dutt’s The Glenwalk has emerged as Maharashtra’s No. 1 selling Scotch whisky, clocking sales of 60,000 cases between April and September 2025. Launched less than a year ago, the brand’s strong performance underscores its growing popularity and consumer trust as the first Scotch crafted for the Indian palate.
While the global whisky market has faced headwinds from economic uncertainty and regulatory shifts, The Glenwalk’s rise reflects its sharp positioning and resonance with evolving consumer preferences. Its Maharashtra sales nearly doubled from previous volumes, outperforming established premium competitors.
“The Glenwalk’s adaptability and foresight have been key to its success,” said Mokksh Sani, Founder of Living Liquidz and Mansionz, and Co-founder of Cartel Bros. Sanjay Dutt, Co-founder of The Glenwalk, added that the brand’s strong connect with consumers highlights its commitment to quality and value.
With rising demand across key markets, The Glenwalk continues to strengthen its footprint and lead a new wave of Scotch appreciation in India.
