The three-day event is expected to draw more than 2,000 delegates, including senior government representatives, policymakers, hospitality leaders, tourism stakeholders, investors, entrepreneurs and academicians from India and overseas. The convention will focus on strengthening India’s tourism growth trajectory by reinforcing domestic travel while enhancing the country’s competitiveness as an inbound destination.
The agenda will include keynote addresses, panel discussions, leadership dialogues and networking sessions centred on emerging traveller expectations, hospitality innovation, investment trends and sustainable destination development. Hosting the convention in Varanasi places the spotlight on India’s cultural heritage and experiential tourism potential.
Previous editions of the FHRAI Convention have been attended by senior political leaders, including Yogi Adityanath, Pramod Sawant, Siddaramaiah and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, among other government officials and industry stakeholders. Organisers expect participation from key ministries and senior representatives across the tourism and hospitality ecosystem at the 2026 edition as well.
FHRAI stated that the annual convention continues to serve as a key platform for public-private dialogue, policy exchange and industry collaboration. The 56th edition is positioned to further strengthen India’s hospitality ecosystem while shaping strategies for sustainable and future-ready tourism growth.
