Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of his first restaurant in the country — Gordon Ramsay Street Burger — at the newly revamped Terminal 1 of Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA).
The debut, in partnership with Travel Food Services (TFS), brings Ramsay’s globally popular burger brand to one of India’s busiest aviation hubs, marking the start of a broader expansion plan across the country’s key travel hubs.
The Delhi menu blends Ramsay’s global staples with India-inspired flavours, featuring options like the Gordon’s Fried Chicken Burger, the Tandoori Paneer Burger, and the Butternut Bhaji Burger, alongside indulgent sides, chef-crafted salads, and desserts such as Ramsay’s signature Sticky Toffee Pudding.
“India’s passion for bold, flavourful food makes it a natural home for Street Burger,” said Andy Wenlock, CEO, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global. “Expanding into Delhi — and soon Mumbai — is an exciting next step for us.”
For TFS, which operates leading food and beverage concepts across airports, the partnership signals a step-up in premium airport dining. “Indian travellers today expect global-quality dining that’s fast and relevant. This collaboration is a milestone for us,” said Varun Kapur, MD & CEO, TFS.
Delhi Airport, ranked the world’s 9th busiest by passenger traffic in 2024 with 77.8 million travellers, is positioning its expanded T1 terminal as a showcase for chef-driven, global-standard dining.
With successful airport outlets already in London, Doha, and Hong Kong, Ramsay’s India debut strengthens his brand’s footprint across international travel hubs — and sets the stage for a larger culinary push into South Asia.
