The Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India) (HRAWI) hosted the fifth edition of the HRAWI Awards 2026 on January 4, 2026, at Hotel Omni Residency, Indore, recognising excellence, innovation, leadership, sustainability and legacy within Madhya Pradesh’s hospitality sector. The awards celebrated individuals and establishments that have played a pivotal role in elevating service standards and driving industry growth across the state.
The ceremony was graced by Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Hon’ble Minister of Water Resources, Government of Madhya Pradesh, who attended as Chief Guest and presented the awards. The event was held alongside a Knowledge Summit on ‘Cybersecurity and Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Rules, 2025’, jointly organised by FHRAI, HRAWI and the Indore Hotel Association (IHA).
Senior industry leaders present included Surendra Kumar Jaiswal, President, FHRAI; Jimmy Shaw, President, HRAWI; Garish Oberoi, Hon. Secretary, FHRAI; and Sumit Suri, President, IHA.
Speaking at the event, Jimmy Shaw, President, HRAWI, commended hospitality professionals across the state for their commitment to advancing tourism and hospitality in Madhya Pradesh.
The awards recognised several standout performers, including Indore Marriott Hotel as Hotel of the Year – Excellence in Performance; THE Park Indore as Best New Hotel; WOW Crest, Indore – IHCL SeleQtions for Excellence in Sustainable Hospitality; MPT Samrat Vikramaditya – The Heritage Hotel, Ujjain for Outstanding Contribution to Eco-Tourism and Heritage Luxury Stays; Sayaji Hotel, Indore for Transformative Impact on Tourism Development; and Hotel Shreemaya Residency, Indore with the Legacy Hospitality Establishment Award. Individual honours were also presented to leading hospitality professionals for their contributions to the sector.
HRAWI also felicitated the Omni Group for hosting the event, with special recognition to Shri Hemant Suri, Co-founder and Chairman, and Shri Jairaj Suri, Executive Director, Omni Group of Hotels, for their support and hospitality.
