The Institute of Bakery and Culinary Arts (IBCA), New Delhi, has achieved a groundbreaking milestone by becoming the first Saudi Arabia-recognized Skill Testing Centre in Delhi NCR under the prestigious Project TAKAMOL. This initiative, spearheaded by NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) and THSC (Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council), positions IBCA as a leader in culinary education and global skill recognition.
This recognition, part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s TAKAMOL project, underscores IBCA’s commitment to excellence and innovation in culinary arts. The affiliation enables Indian culinary talent to earn certifications recognized across Saudi Arabia and other GCC nations. Students graduating from IBCA will now be equipped with globally acknowledged credentials, paving the way for international opportunities in the hospitality sector.
“This recognition is a testament to our dedication to nurturing world-class culinary professionals,” said Chef Balendra Singh, Director of IBCA. “It opens global career pathways, particularly in the Middle East, for our aspiring chefs.”
With affiliations from prestigious bodies like City & Guilds, CTH, and KHDA Dubai, IBCA offers cutting-edge training in state-of-the-art facilities. This achievement aligns with India’s vision of workforce mobility, ensuring Indian talent remains competitive on the global stage.
