The International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) recently hosted its inaugural Hospitality AI Awards, celebrating innovation across ten categories tailored to the hotel sector. The event also featured a landmark roundtable titled “AI and Human Touch”, where industry experts debated the balance between automation and the personalised service that defines hospitality.
Held on World AI Appreciation Day, the debate brought together technologists, hoteliers, and educators to examine how AI can enhance operations without eroding the human-centric nature of guest experiences. This critical dialogue underscores IIHM’s leadership in embedding advanced technology into hospitality education and practice.
In tandem with the awards, IIHM showcased its AI-first credentials through the recently launched NamAIste – IIHM Hospitality GPT, the world’s first generative AI platform dedicated to the hospitality .
Built in India with global utility in mind, NamAIste offers specialised insights, case studies, and operational support, empowering students and professionals to integrate AI thoughtfully alongside human service.
By recognising AI excellence and fostering debate on tech-human integration, IIHM is setting a global benchmark for hospitality’s future—merging innovation with empathy.
