60-key Srinagar hotel strengthens presence amid tourism surge
Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of a new property under its Keys Prima brand in Srinagar, further strengthening its expansion strategy in Jammu and Kashmir.
With this addition, the company’s regional portfolio will grow to four operational hotels, alongside two more properties currently under development. The upcoming hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels.
Strategically located approximately 2 km from Srinagar International Airport and around 11 km from Srinagar Railway Station, the property is expected to offer seamless connectivity for both business and leisure travellers visiting the Kashmir Valley.
The Keys Prima hotel will feature 60 rooms and a range of amenities, including a restaurant, banquet hall, conference facilities, swimming pool, and fitness centre, catering to the growing demand for branded hospitality offerings in the region.
Commenting on the development, Neelendra Singh said Jammu and Kashmir is emerging as a high-potential leisure destination, driven by rising domestic tourism and infrastructure improvements. He added that evolving traveller expectations are fuelling demand for experience-led stays backed by trusted brands, which the Keys Prima offering aims to address.
Lemon Tree Hotels operates across multiple segments, with brands spanning upscale to economy categories.
On the financial front, the company reported a marginal rise in consolidated net profit to ₹62.67 crore in Q3 FY26, while revenue from operations grew 14.3% year-on-year to ₹406.05 crore. Shares of the company declined 3.30% to ₹104.15 on the BSE following the announcement.
