MRG Group has expanded its hospitality portfolio with the launch of Goldfinch Panjim Goa, a 98-key hotel overlooking the Mandovi River in the heart of Goa’s capital city.
The new property strengthens the group’s presence in one of India’s leading leisure destinations and forms part of its long-term strategy to expand its hospitality footprint across high-growth markets.
Designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers, Goldfinch Panjim Goa offers 98 guestrooms, including seven suites, featuring contemporary interiors, modern amenities and functional design. The hotel also provides convenient access to Panjim’s commercial centres, cultural attractions and entertainment districts.
The property’s food and beverage offering is anchored by Banjara, an all-day dining restaurant serving a mix of international cuisine and Goan specialities aimed at both resident guests and local patrons.
Dr K. Prakash Shetty, Founder and Chairman of MRG Group, said the launch reflects the company’s commitment to expanding its hospitality presence in strategically important markets while focusing on sustainable growth and operationalexcellence.
Gaurav Shetty, Managing Director of MRG Group, said Goa remains one of India’s most significant tourism markets and the new hotel reinforces the group’s efforts to strengthen its position in key leisure and business destinations.
The opening adds to Goldfinch Hospitality’s growing portfolio, which currently includes properties in Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Sakleshpur, Hebbal, Navi Mumbai and Goa.
MRG Group is also advancing several hospitality projects across India, including Hilton Resort & Convention Goa, JW Marriott Resort, Spa & Residences Sakleshpur, Goldfinch Signature Mangaluru, Goldfinch Signature Mangaluru – A Tribute Portfolio Resort, and Marriott Resort & Spa Chikkamagaluru.
The company has outlined plans to expand its hospitality portfolio to more than 3,500 keys by 2035 as part of its long-term growth strategy.
