Oberoi Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of Madam Chow, a new signature restaurant at The Oberoi, Gurgaon, marking one of the year’s most significant culinary openings. Showcasing the rich gastronomic traditions of Guangdong and Sichuan, the restaurant blends authentic cuisine with contemporary design and the hallmark warmth of Oberoi hospitality.
Located in a striking glass pavilion overlooking the hotel’s reflective pool, Madam Chow accommodates 86 guests, with seating across intimate clusters, elevated platforms, and a dramatic mezzanine level. A private dining room for 12 adds an exclusive option for corporate and celebratory gatherings. Designed around the philosophy of Yin and Yang, the space shifts from bright and airy by day to warm and intimate by night, creating a dynamic dining atmosphere.
The restaurant’s culinary programme is led by Chef Wong Kwai Wah (Sam), a Guangdong and Sichuan specialist with more than 35 years of experience, and Chef Mark Lin, known for his artistry in dim sum. Signature highlights include Imperial Roasted Chicken, Xiang La Tofu, Lychee Bonsai Bao, Harmony Siu Mai, and inventive desserts such as Jasmine Tea Mai Lai Go and Sichuan Peppercorn Ice Cream. Complementing the food is a beverage menu featuring Asian-inspired cocktails, Chinese teas, sakes, and international wines.
Speaking on the launch, Ankush Mahajan, Vice President & General Manager, The Oberoi, Gurgaon, said: “Madam Chow reflects our commitment to creating distinctive dining experiences that marry authenticity with innovation. We are delighted to welcome guests to a restaurant rooted in tradition yet reimagined for today’s discerning diners.”
