Olive by Embassy, the hospitality venture of Embassy Group, has unveiled Open Hotels, the world’s first fully remote-operated, AI-native hotel brand. Built to revolutionize budget-to-midscale hotel operations, Open is now offered in two models—Franchise and Full Management—both powered by a seamless, CapEx-free tech stack.
“We began by managing receptions via video conferencing, and with the addition of Voice AI and real-time analytics, guest satisfaction and profit margins soared,” said Kahraman Yigit, CEO & Co-founder, Olive by Embassy. “With Open Hotels, we’re bringing this powerful tech to the market. We’ve already signed 12 properties across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mysore, Vijayawada, and Chikmagalur.”
Open replaces traditional front desks with live remote video receptions. Staff-to-room ratios have dropped by 57%—from 0.7 to 0.3—while boosting RevPAR and operational efficiency. A patent has been filed with the USPTO for the brand’s Remote Hotel Management System.
Voice AI plays a crucial role, monitoring guest interactions to identify dissatisfaction in real time and trigger service responses. The system supports predictive housekeeping and audio-video analytics for enhanced guest experiences.
With a goal of scaling across India and beyond, Open Hotels positions India as a global hub for remote hospitality delivery—“No planes. No visas. Just real-time hospitality from Bangalore to the world,” added Yigit.
