Olive Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Embassy Group, has crossed the 100-hotel mark across India, marking a significant milestone in its growth journey and reinforcing its position as one of the country’s fastest-scaling asset-light hospitality operators. Alongside this achievement, the company has formally transitioned from Olive by Embassy to Olive Hospitality, signalling its evolution from a single-brand operator into a multi-brand hospitality platform.
Founded on the premise that India’s accommodation market was highly fragmented and in need of institutionalisation, Olive’s expansion has been driven by shifting travel patterns and evolving guest expectations. The company has focused on delivering consistency, intuitive design, seamless technology, and value across business, leisure, pilgrimage, and extended-stay segments.
Rather than adopting a uniform model, Olive developed a differentiated brand architecture to cater to diverse market needs. Its portfolio includes Olive Hotel for contemporary business and leisure stays, Spark by Hilton as a premium economy offering in partnership with Hilton, and Open Hotels positioned as flexible, value-led accommodations across both metro and emerging markets.
The milestone also reflects strategic recalibration during the Covid-19 pandemic, when the company strengthened its asset-light approach, accelerated digital adoption, and streamlined operations. This period helped shape Olive’s “high-tech, high-touch” philosophy, combining centralised revenue management, digital systems, and design-led standardisation with local operational agility.
Currently, Olive Hospitality has 4,472 keys signed across 20 cities in 10 states, with 2,178 keys operational. Its footprint spans key destinations across Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh.
The rebranding to Olive Hospitality represents a broader structural shift toward building an integrated ecosystem that unifies operations, procurement, design, technology, and revenue management under a scalable framework.

Commenting on the milestone, Kahraman Yigit, Co-founder and CEO, Olive Hospitality, said, “Reaching 100 hotels is a strong validation of our belief that hospitality in India must be both institutional and intuitive. As Olive Hospitality, we are building an integrated ecosystem that combines multiple brands, shared capabilities, and deep traveller insight. This foundation allows us to scale with discipline while remaining agile across markets and formats.”
