Piccadily Agro Industries Limited has announced the relaunch of Whistler Barrel Aged Blended Malt Whisky, featuring a premium new look and an enhanced blend designed to resonate with modern whisky enthusiasts. With this bold move, the company has set an ambitious goal of achieving 1 million cases in sales over the next three years.
Whistler Whisky is a tribute to the delicate art of blending and barrel aging. Carefully selected malt and grain spirits have been matured in oak barrels to create a whisky that offers a smoother, more elegant experience. The updated packaging, inspired by the vibrant Whistler Warbler native to Indri, blends bold colors and intricate details that evoke the harmony of nature and craftsmanship, ensuring the bottle stands out on shelves while telling a story of heritage.
The whisky delivers a layered and complex drinking experience, with warm aromas of dried fruit and vanilla cream, a rich and well-rounded palate of malt, toffee, and spice, and a graceful, lingering finish of mellow sweetness.
Priced between INR 750 and INR 1500 for a 750 ml bottle (42.8% ABV), Whistler Whisky will be available across premium retail outlets and on-trade venues in India, with export plans on the horizon. CEO Praveen Malviya emphasized that Whistler’s relaunch is more than a brand refresh; it’s a strategic move to disrupt the mid-premium whisky segment and redefine what Indian blended malts can achieve.
