India’s leading international trade fair for the wines and spirits industry, ProWine Mumbai 2025, returns to the Jio World Convention Centre from October 31 to November 1, promising its biggest showcase yet. Organized by Messe Düsseldorf India and All Things Nice, the event is set to bring together more than 180 exhibitors from 21 countries, reaffirming its stature as the most influential B2B platform for the Indian AlcoBev ecosystem.
Backed by the global legacy of ProWein Düsseldorf, ProWine Mumbai continues to be the meeting ground for global producers, importers, distributors, hospitality leaders, and sommeliers driving the growth of India’s premium beverage segment.
Since its inception, the platform has evolved from educational campaigns to a full-scale trade fair attracting thousands of professionals. Its year-on-year expansion — with participation from iconic global markets including France, Italy, Australia, the UK, the US, Japan, and Germany — mirrors India’s growing sophistication as a consumption and investment market.
The 2025 edition introduces ProWine Zero, a segment dedicated to low- and no-alcohol innovation, alongside key returning features such as the ProWine & ProSpirits Challenge, ProWine Bartenders’ Competition, and ProWine Mumbai: Honouring Excellence Awards. Together, these create an ecosystem for trade dialogue, benchmarking, and skill elevation.
“ProWine Mumbai has become the definitive trade platform for brands seeking to understand and engage with India’s rapidly expanding beverage market,” said Ajay Gulati, General Manager, Messe Düsseldorf India. “Its consistent growth reflects the trust of both international producers and India’s on-trade and off-trade communities.”
Adding to that, Nikhil Agarwal, Founder of All Things Nice, noted, “India’s AlcoBev story is at an inflection point, and ProWine Mumbai plays a key catalytic role. From education to exposure, it’s helping shape the country’s beverage culture and trade maturity.”
For hoteliers, restaurateurs, and F&B leaders, ProWine Mumbai serves as a pulse check on the evolving Indian palate — bridging global trends with local opportunities. With curated masterclasses, panel discussions, and networking sessions, the two-day trade fair will once again define what’s next for India’s wine and spirits industry.
