Radico Khaitan Limited, one of India’s leading homegrown alcobev companies, has announced the India launch of The Kohinoor Reserve Indian Dark Rum, a globally acclaimed triple-aged expression matured in American Bourbon barrels, Cognac XO casks, and Vermouth casks. Following its successful international debut, the rum is being introduced in India, starting with Uttar Pradesh, with plans to expand into Karnataka and Delhi.
Inspired by the legendary Kohinoor diamond, the brand blends India’s rich rum-making heritage with contemporary luxury. Distilled in small batches from fresh cane juice harvested during the North Indian winter, the spirit undergoes a meticulous ageing journey that delivers exceptional depth and complexity, setting it apart in the premium dark rum category.

The bottle design reflects the spirit’s inspiration, featuring a multi-faceted, gem-like structure with muted gold accents that evoke Indian royalty and understated luxury.
Amar Sinha, Chief Operating Officer, Radico Khaitan, added that the rum carries forward the Rampur Distillery’s legacy of rum distillation since 1943, offering a refined, triple-cask expression crafted with patience and precision.
On the palate, The Kohinoor Reserve delivers sweet-fruity notes, native spices, dried fruits, roasted nuts, and elegant woody undertones, culminating in a long, smooth finish.
The rum is priced at INR 4,350 (750 ml) in Uttar Pradesh, INR 4,635 in Karnataka, and INR 3,750 in Delhi.
