Radisson Hotel Group has partnered with Accenture to launch an AI-powered hotel discovery app on ChatGPT, marking a significant step in the hospitality company’s agentic commerce and direct booking strategy.
Available as @RadissonHotels on ChatGPT, the app enables travellers to search, compare and explore more than 1,000 Radisson properties across over 100 countries through natural language conversations. Users can receive personalised hotel recommendations based on destination, travel preferences, amenities and stay requirements, along with access to live rates, inventory information and location-based insights before being directed to Radisson’s booking platform.
The initiative reflects the growing influence of artificial intelligence on travel planning and booking behaviour. According to Accenture’s Consumer Pulse Research, 87% of travellers are open to using AI-powered travel agents to identify suitable travel options, while 71% expect AI to influence at least half of their hotel and airline spending decisions over the next year.
Gianni Di Fede, Chief Commercial Officer, Radisson Hotel Group, said the company is positioning itself at the forefront of AI-driven travel discovery by engaging guests at the planning stage and simplifying the path from search to booking.
The platform has been developed using Accenture’s AI Merchant Center, which helps brands optimise content, inventory and booking signals for AI-led discovery. The app integrates directly with Radisson Hotel Group’s existing systems to provide real-time hotel information and availability.
Looking ahead, Radisson Hotel Group and Accenture plan to expand the platform’s capabilities to include personalised recommendations, loyalty programme integration, reservation management, trip modifications and AI-powered concierge services.
For the hospitality industry, the launch highlights the growing shift towards conversational commerce, where AI platforms are increasingly influencing travel discovery and booking decisions. The move also underscores how hotel companies are investing in AI-native channels to strengthen direct guest engagement and reduce reliance on traditional online distribution pathways.
