Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) closed 2025 with its strongest performance in India to date, reporting record operating metrics, accelerated expansion, and improved brand engagement across markets.
The group recorded its highest-ever Global Review Index (GRI) score in India during the year, reflecting improved guest satisfaction and brand perception across its portfolio. India’s hospitality sector saw demand continue to outstrip supply in 2025, and RHG maintained one of the fastest growth rates among international hotel operators in the country.
During the year, RHG signed 33 new hotels and entered 11 new destinations, spanning metro, leisure, and emerging markets. The group reported a 6 per cent increase in Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) and a 7 per cent rise in Average Daily Rate (ADR), supported by higher occupancies and pricing discipline, resulting in improved returns for hotel owners.
Performance remained strong across key business and leisure markets. Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Delhi NCRcontinued to anchor corporate travel demand, while destinations such as Lonavala and Udaipur benefited from sustained growth in weddings and MICE activity. Expansion during the year included new signings in Delhi NCR, Mount Abu, Goa, Rajkot, Bhuj, Ranchi, and Bengaluru, alongside seven property conversions, enabling faster market entry and reduced development timelines.
RHG also expanded its experiential and brand-led platforms during the year, including Literary Escapes and Art of Weddings, and deepened its engagement with Indian sports through partnerships such as the Neeraj Chopra Classic and Bengaluru Football Club. Direct bookings via RHG’s digital platforms increased 35 per cent year-on-year, supported by enhancements in digital merchandising and revenue management.
Sustainability initiatives remained a focus area, with wider implementation of Hotel Sustainability Basics, increased use of renewable energy, and hospitality skill-development programmes rolled out in collaboration with the Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) and The Job Plus, particularly across Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
Commenting on the performance, Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, said the results reflected growing trust among guests and owners and a continued focus on long-term value creation. Davashish Srivastava, Senior Director – Development, South Asia, added that expansion into new destinations had strengthened the group’s understanding of evolving domestic travel patterns, particularly in leisure and secondary markets.
Looking ahead, RHG aims to cross 150 operational hotels in India by 2026, supported by a pipeline of franchise-led developments, conversions, and expansion across Tier-II, Tier-III, religious, and wellness destinations. The group currently has a portfolio of over 200 hotels in operation and development in India and continues to strengthen its presence in key markets, including Delhi NCR.
