ROSIND, the official India partner of the Russian Export Center, has announced the launch of Soyuzprod Vodka in India, marking the entry of an authentic Russian vodka brand into the country’s rapidly expanding premium spirits market.
The launch forms part of ROSIND’s broader strategy to strengthen the presence of Russian consumer brands in India through local distribution partnerships, retail expansion and long-term brand development initiatives.
According to the company, Soyuzprod is produced at Russia’s historic Salut Distillery, which traces its origins to 1884. Crafted using Lux-grade spirit, selected grains and glacial water, the vodka is positioned as a premium offering aimed at consumers seeking authentic international spirits experiences.
Commenting on the launch, Bobby Kohli, Executive Director, ROSIND, said India’s growing appetite for premium spirits, coupled with increasing demand for authenticity and heritage-led brands, presents a significant opportunity for Russian vodka in the market.
The launch comes amid continued premiumisation in India’s spirits sector. Industry estimates place the domestic vodka market at over ₹39,000 crore, with premium and imported labels gaining traction among urban consumers driven by rising disposable incomes, evolving consumption patterns and a growing cocktail culture.
Priced from ₹1,000 onwards, Soyuzprod will be available across key Indian markets as ROSIND seeks to establish the brand among the country’s leading imported vodka labels while strengthening trade and consumer links betweenIndia and Russia.
