The 8th edition of the AHP Hospitality Challenge 2025 concluded successfully this July, bringing together over 350 participants—including hospitality students, young professionals, and specially-abled individuals—from across India. Organised by the Association of Hospitality Professionals (AHP), the event showcased talent and precision across more than 20 hospitality categories, reaffirming AHP’s commitment to skill development and industry inclusivity.
A defining highlight of this year’s challenge was the inclusion of specially-abled professionals through the ‘Sashakt’ initiative. Participants with special abilities competed in core categories like Housekeeping and Food & Beverage Service on equal footing, reflecting AHP’s belief in equal opportunity and talent recognition.
Competitions were held from July 3 to 9 across leading venues in Delhi, including Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management, The Suryaa, Novotel City Centre, and Radisson Blu, Paschim Vihar. A panel of 50 senior industry professionals evaluated participants on technical expertise, hygiene, creativity, and communication.
The event will culminate with the AHP Hospitality Excellence Awards 2025 on July 30 at The Suryaa, New Delhi, celebrating standout individuals and institutions across hospitality, tourism, and food service. AHP continues to promote a more skilled, inclusive, and visible future for India’s hospitality workforce.
