Taj Lands End reopens Tropics restaurant

The newly reopened Tropics restaurant in the heart of Bandra at Taj Lands End offers patrons to indulge in a gastronomic expedition with a melange of signature grills and scintillating music besides the serenity of the tranquil pool, under the open skies. Tropics is an urban oasis to escape the hustle of the city and revel in soothing sea breeze and blazing barbeque nights.

Commenting on reopening, Chef Rohit Sangwan, Executive Chef, Taj Lands End said, “We are excited to reopen Tropics to our non-resident guests this year. This outdoor restaurant by the poolside is reminiscent of a lush island paradise. We have crafted a live barbeque menu centred on exquisite produce ranging from New Zealand Lamb Chops to Asian Barramundi. There is an eclectic mix of grilled delights such as Peruvian asparagus, German Frankfurter sausages, Chicken Scallopini & locally sourced prawns accompanied by a wide selection of homemade sauces. The piece de resistance are the Mexican paletas, colourful popsicles made with fresh fruit juices. We will be taking our guests on a sensorial journey. As the Sun sets they can unwind with some unique concoctions from our Gin garden accompanied by enticing aroma of the grills being made, serenaded by a live crooner through the evening.”
