Tamara Leisure Experiences has announced a significant leadership transition as Samir M.C. takes on the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective June 16, 2025. Samir succeeds Shruti Shibulal, who will assume the position of Executive Vice Chair to focus on long-term strategy and cultural development.
With 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including leadership roles at ITC Hotels and InterContinental Hotels Group, Samir brings a wealth of expertise in operations, regional expansion, and stakeholder engagement. He described his new role as a privilege and committed to advancing Tamara’s reputation for responsible hospitality.
Shruti Shibulal, who led Tamara for over a decade, will remain integral to the company’s strategic direction. In her new capacity, she will align future property developments with Tamara’s values, focus on leadership development, and reinforce the organization’s sustainability-driven culture.
