Prof. Venkata Ramanaunderscored the state’s focus on projecting Telangana’s positive image globally through skilled, visitor-friendly personnel.
The 80 Tourism Police will be deployed across nine Commissionerates at major attractions including Somasila, Ananthagiri, Ramappa, Yadagirigutta, Pochampally, Buddhavanam, Bhadrachalam, and Hyderabad.
According to Mr. D. Ramachandram, Co-Chairman, FTCCI Tourism Committee, “Telangana now has one of the largest Tourism Police forces in India and joins states like Kerala—which pioneered the concept in 2010—in creating safer, more welcoming destinations.”
