The Postcard Hotel has expanded its experiential luxury portfolio with the launch of The Postcard Ayurveda Retreat, Old Goa – A Sitaram Ayurveda Experience, marking the brand’s first dedicated wellness-only property. Located in a heritage-rich enclave of Old Goa and surrounded by reserve forests, the retreat has been developed in collaboration with Sitaram Ayurveda, which brings over 104 years of clinical Ayurvedic expertiseto the project.
Positioned as an industry-first collaboration, the retreat is designed as a medical wellness destination rather than a leisure resort. Stays are offered for a minimum of seven nights and are structured as fully personalised, all-inclusive healing programmes focused on long-term health, balance, and preventive care.
Kapil Chopra, Founder and CEO, The Postcard Hotel, said the retreat reflects the brand’s intent to integrate authentic Ayurveda with experiential luxury. He noted that the property combines Sitaram Ayurveda’s century-old healing traditions with The Postcard’s emphasis on privacy, nature-led design, and intuitive service to deliver outcome-driven wellness journeys.
The retreat features only six rooms, ensuring exclusivity and privacy. Set amid pristine forests, the property is anchored by a 300-year-old banyan tree and offers uninterrupted views of gardens, valleys, and the Mandovi River. Each room includes a private balcony and is designed to encourage stillness, reflection, and recovery.
Dr. Vignesh Devraj, MD (Ay), Founder and Chief Physician, Sitaram Retreats, said the collaboration brings together place, purpose, and personalised care. Each guest begins their stay with detailed consultations, following which resident physicians curate tailored programmes based on individual doshas and health needs.
Wellness journeys range from 7, 14 to 21 nights, and include daily doctor consultations, Ayurvedic therapies, yoga and meditation sessions, mindful nature walks, and dosha-specific nutrition. Dining is integral to the healing process, with meals prepared in consultation with physicians using seasonal ingredients and served at prescribed times.
Introductory pricing for the retreat starts at ₹3.40 lakh for single occupancy and ₹4.50 lakh for double occupancy for a seven-night stay. Packages are inclusive of taxes, airport transfers, accommodation, all meals and beverages, prescribed treatments and medications during the stay, private consultations, and yoga sessions.
The Postcard Ayurveda Retreat is aimed at guests seeking preventive healthcare, immunity enhancement, lifestyle correction, and long-term wellbeing, reinforcing the growing demand for authentic, medically guided wellness experiences in India’s luxury hospitality segment.
