Vivaano Spirits has announced its debut in India with the launch of two tequila expressions — Vivaano Blanco and Vivaano Reposado — marking the entry of the founder-led premium tequila house into the Indian alcobev market.
Founded by Arjunpreet Singh Sahni, Vivaano positions itself as an atelier-built tequila house focused on craftsmanship, restraint, and long-term brand building rather than scale-driven expansion.
Produced in Jalisco, Mexico, by La Cofradia under NOM 1137 certification, both expressions are crafted using 100% puro de agave, slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens and double distilled before being bottled at source.
The Blanco expression is positioned as a bright, agave-forward tequila designed for aperitif-style consumption, while the Reposado offers a more layered profile matured in oak barrels for slower sipping occasions.
Commenting on the launch, Sahni said the brand was built after years of searching for a tequila that balanced craftsmanship, identity, and refined drinking experiences.
The launch strategy will initially focus on Delhi NCR through an on-trade-first distribution approach in partnership with Suvira Spirits. The brand plans selective placements across fine dining venues, cocktail bars, hospitality programs, and curated tasting environments before expanding into additional markets.
Vivaano has also introduced the “Vivaano Society”, a bartender and sommelier engagement program aimed at building long-term advocacy within the hospitality and on-trade ecosystem.
Positioned within the ₹6,000–₹7,500 segment, Vivaano enters the premium tequila category alongside established global brands including Patrón and Don Julio.
The company said the launch reflects growing demand in India for contemporary luxury spirits and elevated cocktail experiences.
