Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has announced a new partnership with Grubhub to provide food and everyday essentials delivery at nearly 6,000 hotels across the United States. The collaboration marks a growing industry trend toward outsourcing guest services that were previously managed in-house, offering greater flexibility and convenience for both travelers and hotel staff.
As part of the partnership, guests can place orders through the Grubhub app or via Wyndham-branded QR codes available on-site at participating properties. The program also includes a six-month complimentary membership to Grubhub Plus, which gives users access to benefits such as $0 delivery fees, reduced service charges, and 5% back on pickup orders.
Charmaine Taylor, Senior Vice President of Strategic and Financial Partnerships at Wyndham, said the collaboration aims to enhance the guest experience. “Travel should be enjoyable, not stressful, and that’s exactly what Grubhub helps deliver,” she said in a statement.
The initiative reflects the growing demand for tech-enabled, on-demand services in the hospitality industry, as hotel brands continue to adapt to changing consumer expectations and prioritize convenience as a key part of the modern travel experience.
