In a significant win for the Indian alco-bev industry, ZigZag Vodka has earned international acclaim at the Asia World Spirits Competition 2025, hosted by The Tasting Alliance. Just months after its launch, the homegrown brand secured four medals—one for each of its debut variants—marking a rare clean sweep at a global spirits event.
ZigZag Vodka was awarded three Silver medals for its Original, Green Apple, and Orange expressions, while its Limevariant took home a Bronze medal. All four vodkas are distilled and bottled in Chhattisgarh, India, reflecting a new era of bold, design-forward Indian spirits ready for the global stage.
“This is a proud moment for Indian spirits. ZigZag is officially the first Indian vodka brand to win international honours across its entire range—and that too, in our very first year,” said Ishwaraj Singh Bhatia, Co-Founder of Simba Beer and ZigZag Vodka. “It’s an honour to be recognised globally, and this milestone only strengthens our belief in what we’re building—a bold, design-led spirit from India that deserves to be celebrated worldwide.”
The Asia World Spirits Competition is among the most respected events in the global beverage industry, judged by seasoned experts and industry leaders. ZigZag’s success highlights a growing appetite for innovative, flavour-forward spirits that champion Indian craftsmanship and creativity.
As ZigZag gains momentum on the international stage, the brand continues to redefine what Indian spirits can represent—contemporary, globally relevant, and unapologetically Indian.
