The Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India) (HRAWI) is set to host the second edition of its Knowledge Series on April 10, 2026, at The Mirador Hotel in Mumbai. The full-day initiative aims to equip hospitality professionals with critical insights into the latest regulatory and policy developments impacting the sector.
Designed as a focused learning platform, the session will address the evolving compliance landscape, covering key areas such as the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Rules, GST updates, Labour Codes, and Tourism Policy. The initiative seeks to bridge the information gap and enable industry stakeholders to navigate regulatory requirements with greater clarity and confidence.
Ernst & Young (E&Y) continues as the official Knowledge Partner for the series, bringing subject-matter expertise across compliance and policy domains. Following a successful inaugural session in Pune, HRAWI plans to take the Knowledge Series across multiple cities in western India on a monthly basis.
The Mumbai session will feature expert-led presentations, panel discussions, and interactive Q&A sessions. Speakers include Abhijit Parab (Partner – Cybersecurity), Akshit Saraogi (Director – Indirect Tax), Tarun Pandey (Partner – Risk Consulting), Siladitya Dasgupta and Anshul Shukla (Directors – Risk Consulting), and Nikhil Padhye (Senior Manager – Tax & Regulatory), all from Ernst & Young.
The event is tailored for hotel owners, general managers, compliance heads, restaurateurs, and senior hospitality professionals, offering actionable insights and best practices for effective implementation.
Members and industry professionals are encouraged to register in advance to participate in this knowledge-driven initiative.
