IHCL Opens Ginger Hyderabad in Genome Valley
Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the opening of Ginger Hyderabad, Genome Valley, strengthening the company’s footprint in one of Hyderabad’s fastest-growing life sciences and biotechnology corridors.
Commenting on the launch, Deepika Rao said the midscale hospitality segment continues to witness strong demand from corporate travelers seeking efficient, accessible, and contemporary accommodation options.
“The opening of Ginger Hyderabad, Genome Valley strengthens our presence in a high-growth micro-market and reflects our continued focus on expanding the Ginger brand across key commercial corridors,” she said.
Located in the heart of Hyderabad’s prominent life sciences cluster, the hotel features 75 rooms tailored for modern business travelers. The property also includes Ginger’s signature dining brand, Qmin, along with meeting spaces designed for small corporate gatherings and business interactions.
S. P. Reddy said the region has emerged as a major centre for life sciences innovation and biotechnology, creating rising demand for quality hospitality infrastructure.
“This opening marks the first of 10 Ginger hotels planned across southern India under the framework agreement,” he added.
Hyderabad remains one of India’s leading economic and technology hubs, with strong presence across IT, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and research sectors. Genome Valley is home to numerous global and domestic life sciences companies, research institutions, and advanced manufacturing facilities.
