The Indian Express on Monday reported that the restaurant industry in Mumbai and Bengaluru feels the impact of Goods and Services Tax (GST) has been largely positive, but lack of clarity on regulations remains a major hurdle, according to a survey. According to a Business Standard report, fast-food major Yum! Brands which operates Pizza Hut and KFC restaurants in India, saw strong sales growth for the sixth straight quarter (October-December), pointing to recovery in food services.
